FROM THE NORTH -- I-95 THRUWAY Take I-95 south to Exit 18A. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Mamaroneck Avenue. Take Mamaroneck Avenue to the Boston Post Road / US 1. Turn right onto Boston Post Road and proceed about 1-1/2 miles to traffic light at Larchmont Avenue. Turn left onto Larchmont Avenue. Proceed for 3 blocks to Woodbine Avenue. Turn left onto Woodbine and follow to the end and the Club's entrance. FROM THE NORTH -- HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY Take Hutchinson River Parkway south to Exit 20 -- Weaver Street / Route 125. At the end of the ramp turn left turn onto Weaver Street. Follow Weaver Street, bearing left at the "Y" (+ 1.8 miles from Parkway), to the Boston Post Road / US 1 (total 3.0 miles from Parkway). Turn right onto the Boston Post Road and proceed to the 3rd traffic light, which is Larchmont Avenue. Turn left onto Larchmont Avenue and proceed for 3 blocks to Woodbine Avenue. Turn left onto Woodbine and follow to the end and the Club's entrance. FROM THE SOUTH -- I-95 THRUWAY Take I-95 north. Just past New Rochelle toll booth, take Exit 17 -- Chatsworth Avenue. Turn right at stop sign (end of ramp). Follow road around to 1st traffic light at Chatsworth Avenue. Turn right onto Chatsworth. Proceed to 5th traffic light at Boston Post Road / Route 1. Cross the Post Road, and Chatsworth now becomes Monroe Avenue. Follow Monroe to its end at Woodbine Avenue. Turn left onto Woodbine and follow to the end and the Club's entrance. FROM THE SOUTH -- HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY Take Hutchinson River Parkway north to Exit 21 -- Weaver Street / Route 125. At stop sign at the end of the short ramp turn right. Proceed to end at Weaver Street. Turn left and follow Weaver Street, bearing left at the "Y" (+1.8 miles from Parkway), to the Boston Post Road / US 1 (total 3.0 miles from Parkway). Turn right onto the Boston Post Road and proceed to the 3rd traffic light, which is Larchmont Avenue. Turn left onto Larchmont Avenue and proceed for 3 blocks to Woodbine Avenue. Turn left onto Woodbine and follow to the end and the Club's entrance. FROM NEW YORK CITY -- WEST SIDE Take West Side Highway north to Henry Hudson Parkway to Saw Mill River Parkway to Cross County Parkway to Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit 21 -- Weaver Street / Route 125 (to continue, see above From the South -- Hutchinson River Parkway). FROM NEW YORK CITY -- EAST SIDE Take FDR Drive north to Triboro Bridge. Follow signs to New England and I-95. Launching
Ramp Launching: There is a 70 foot launching ramp in Mamaroneck, NY (next harbor to the east), which has a large dock on one side, and a depth of 10+ feet at high tide. The cost is $10 to use the ramp (if the person is there), and is open 24hrs a day. Call the harbor master at (860)777-7744 for information.
Crane Launching: Larchmont YC has a 3 ton hoist with 11 feet off the ground clearance. Rip has explained we are welcome to try this, they also have a metal frame with slings they attach to this.
Mast Stepping: Larchmont YC has four cranes that can be used to step masts in boats.
Travel Lift Launching:
McMichael Service Yard, in Mamaroneck, NY will charge $8 a foot roundtrip for putting the boat in and taking it out and an extra $102 each way to step and unstep the mast. Call Yard Manager - Helmut Bittlingmayer at McMichael Yard #1 - (914) 698-4957 for information..

Hotel / Motel: Summerfield Suites Hotel, 101 Corporate Park Dr., Harrison, NY (914)251-9700, has just suites available (king size bed with a pull out couch) for $129 a night, and is 5 miles away and two bedroom suites (2 King size beds w/pullout couch) for $179. Mark McCarthy has a room block and the Summerfield Suites for $139 a night, just ask for the "Soverel - 33 fleet discount."
